Age Calculator

An age calculator shows the time between a date of birth and an end date (usually today). It can answer “How old am I?” and break the result into useful units like years, months, days, hours, and minutes.

3. Read the results in whole years/months/days and in other units like weeks or total days.

To calculate age in whole years, subtract the birth year from the end year, then adjust by whether the birthday has occurred yet in the end year. You can then count remaining full months and days after the last birthday.

For “age in days” or “age in hours,” you calculate the time difference between the two dates and convert units. This tool does those conversions automatically.

You can change the end date to calculate your age at any point in time (past or future). Decimal conversions use average month/year lengths; whole years/months/days use calendar dates.
