Information processed locally

Many tools accept inputs (like timer durations or lists of names). These inputs are processed in your browser to produce results. They aren’t uploaded to a server as part of using the tools.

If you share a link, note that some presets are encoded in the URL (for example a timer preset). URLs can be stored in browser history and may appear in server logs like any requested page.

What we store on your device

The site stores preferences in your browser so tools remember choices like theme, alarm sound, and time format. This data stays on your device (local storage) and isn’t tied to an account.

Service worker caching

Like most websites, our hosting provider may process basic request logs (for example IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp) to operate and secure the service. Stopwatch Tools does not provide user accounts and does not ask you to submit personal data to use the tools.

Third-party services

We aim to keep third-party services to a minimum. Today, the site loads an icon library script (Iconify, served from code.iconify.design) so the interface renders correctly. These providers may receive standard technical information (like your IP address) when your browser requests those files.

If we enable third-party advertising or analytics in the future, we’ll update this page with the provider names and the choices you have.

Cookies

Stopwatch Tools does not use cookies for login or personalization because there are no accounts. We use local storage for preferences instead. Third-party services (if enabled) may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies.
